I guess the answer to that question is somewhat subjective to each of us. To me it's pretty simple; day in and day out doing what you know you have to do despite what you really want to do. Have you ever met people like that? They meet their lives head on and do what they have to without complaining? On paper this seems easy and we may say that we would without doubt do it but would we? Every morning when your feet hit the floor you knew that no matter what came at you that day you would handle it and know that God was in control. You would know that He had you in this place for His purpose and would continue to sustain you. Sometimes the path God calls you to walk are not where you would have gone, but you press on. This is being a hero.
Personally I would like the thank Captain Scott Kennis for pressing on and serving us all in the United States Army.
